This class is designed specifically for those new to Grace, but also has room for those who have attended Grace for some time to get to know newer people. Watch for details on the next session of classes.
Mid-sized gatherings where people meet new friends at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays from September through May, learning from interactive Bible instruction and enjoying Christian fellowship.
Jesus gathered His followers in a small group and developed them into great leaders. The early church followed this pattern and met regularly in homes.
Our small groups are places where we experience Community in Christ while we pursue the Mission of Christ together. When you join a small group, you will meet new friends, encourage each other, and grow together. Our groups tend to be 10-15 people who meet once each week. Within those meetings, groups often break down into smaller groups for discussions or prayer.
In addition to helping each other grow up in Christ through these relationships, our small groups work on ways to reach out to other people in our community who do not know Jesus yet. In this way, groups do things outside the normal meetings to present the truth and proof of the gospel to those who need Christ. Groups have cleaned homes, changed oil on cars for single moms, done yard work, adopted missionaries, invited new people in, and planned other creative ways to reach our community for Christ. One group even planned and hosted a major marriage conference. God is using our small groups to strengthen the community and further the mission of Jesus right here in North Iowa.
